Women’s Fund receives domestic violence award

At the 2017 Light Up the Night, a public event put on by Agnesian Domestic Violence Services, the Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund was honored to receive the “Those Who Care” award for our passion, dedication and energy in bringing awareness to domestic violence in our Fond du Lac community.

The announcement of a three-year campaign to prevent violence against women & children has sparked great collaboration on the issues of domestic violence and sexual assault in our community. In April 2017, the launch of the Fond du Lac Says No More movement kicked off a greater effort to collaborate in educating the community on these issues.
