The “Mind If…” theme will focus on our addition of Health and Well-Being as our fifth foundational agency pillar – specifically mental health for this event. Our co-Women of Achievement – Keziah Love and Kaitlyn Kenealy – are local therapists more at the beginning of their careers than most of the women we’ve honored in years past. This is by design in our interest in ensuring we remain mindful of all aspects of diversity, including those of different generations. Keziah and Kaitlyn will serve as our keynote speakers for the event, as we learned at our 2021 event that attendees were incredibly inspired by the speeches of Valerie Graczyk, Katherine Vergos and Kim Mueller. They will discuss their personal and professional experiences in the arena of mental health and offer thoughts on how – as a community – we can support others.
We are also taking nominations for SHEroes again this year with the focus on FDL County women who either work in/advocate for others in the sphere of mental health or have overcome their own personal mental health struggles to serve as role models for others.
Nominate a SHEro here for consideration to be recognized at our event (as well as promotion leading up to it). Deadline to nominate is Feb. 14, 2022.
