Internship Opportunities

We are in need of energetic, cause-driven individuals to join us in any one of four volunteer internship opportunities, as follows:

> social media/marketing

> grant-writing

> administrative assistance

> event-planning

These roles are unpaid, but we will work with you and your advisor to meet the criteria necessary for coursework credit. Candidates should have successfully completed at least three semesters of coursework in an applicable major.

Each opportunity will encompass 5 to 10 hours per week on a flexible schedule for 12 weeks, beginning Feb. 13 through May 12 for Spring Semester; June 1 through Aug. 30 for Summer Semester; and Sept. 11 through Dec. 8 for Fall Semester. Some, if not all, hours are achievable remotely, as long as the candidate is disciplined in meeting project deadlines and communicative with progress updates. The administrative assistant role, however, requires mostly in-person duties.

If interested, submit a cover letter and resume to Executive Director Maria Turner at fdlawomensfund@gmail.com with “INTERNSHIP CANDIDATE” in the subject line.
