A new program is being developed by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fond du Lac that will help girls in our community. The grant from the Women’s Fund will go toward a new Teen Girls Group that meets weekly at Fond du Lac High School and covers such topics as personal hygiene, sexual abuse, anxiety, dating violence and more. This project aligns with our Fond du Lac Says No More initiative. Because a myriad topics are covered, it also meets three of our funding priority areas: Education; Leadership Development; and Safety, Dignity and Freedom from Violence.
