A grant was made to Marian University to continue our mission of creating “green dots” in our community. Our $2,335 grant will enable Marian to train an additional staff person in Green Dot’s campus version of bystander intervention training. The college utilizes Green Dot in various ways, but the opportunity to provide Green Dot training to student-athletes meets NCAA requirements that athletes receive sexual assault education. Marian’s Green Dot training aligns directly with our Fond du Lac Says No More initiative and meets two funding priorities: Education and Safety, Dignity and Freedom from Violence.
