We delivered our second Strategic Grant check this afternoon to the collaborative partners of Fondy CARES and Church Health Services

We delivered our second Strategic Grant check this afternoon to the collaborative partners of Fondy CARES and Church Health Services to address systemic issues related to poverty, trauma, and access to mental health services for children.

The collaborative project, to be funded at $5,000 annually for the next three years, will “help girls recognize their abilities, gain knowledge of resources to help them grow strong in mind and body, identify and develop leadership skills, and live safely by cultivating self-esteem and self-respect – all so they can live to their full potential.”

Thank you to Fondy CARES and Church Health Services for the work you do with our youth in our Fond du Lac area schools. We look forward to seeing the successes of this partnership through the delivery of support groups and one-on-one counseling in years to come! We also thank our donors for helping us partner in grantmaking within the community. If you’d like to donate to support our work, your gift will still be matched dollar-for-dollar until year-end: www.fdlawomensfund.org/donate
